About Us

Bruce is from Vancouver, Canada. He spends his summer there and has a spot at Wreck beach where he often sets up a small stall.

Bruce has been travelling to the Himalayas since the early 1980s. Spending more than a third of his life in the Himalayas since then.

He spends his winters in his off-grid stone hut. Located at an altitude of 8,500ft in Himachal Pradesh, India.

Bruce's villager friends taught him how to make rope, which he later on converted into belt-making. He has been making these belts since the last 20 years.

Apart from handcrafting the belts by himself, he has shared his techniques and knowledge with many people
