A native of Canada, Bruce has been exploring the Himalayas for over 4 decades.

Drawn to their techniques and crafts that evolved over the generations, he began handcrafting belts using hemp and nettle fiber.

And with the passion of sharing and saving craft, the story of Himalayan Junglee began.

After decades of crafting in the mountains, Bruce met Karan—a traveler with a deep love for the wild and a vision for sharing it. What began as a conversation over tea in a Himalayan village grew into a partnership rooted in purpose.

Together, they set out to bring Bruce’s handcrafted belts to the world—keeping ancient techniques alive, and creating something lasting, from the heart of the mountains.
